When business goals are pursued in silos we’re missing opportunities to combine efforts and achieve outcomes that provide multiple benefits.

This concept is what GIVE & GAIN stemmed from.

From her experience in Learning & Development, Jo experienced the very real challenge when implementing learning initiatives that were seen as a distraction due to individual’s commitment to deadlines. For some, time spent didn't always equal value. Jo looked for possible solutions.

Through conversations, it appeared that social value and volunteering programmes were experiencing the same challenge.
​
Looking at the similarities, the opportunity was clear.
When do individuals get to work together to achieve a shared outcome that isn’t centered around work goals and objectives?
​
What would happen if we broke down boundaries? What if the value-add for the individual was clear and aligned to personal and professional goals?
​
And so, GIVE & GAIN was born.
